Nous vous écrivons depuis la révolution

Presentation of the book (by Syllepse editions ):

“This book started from a desire and a necessity: to share the experiences, the encounters and the emotions that crossed us at the heart of the Rojava revolution. A desire, because so much beauty, energy and hope must be disseminated as widely as possible and must be able to permeate each of our lives, each struggle throughout the world. A necessity because it is our responsibility not to make this time in Rojava a personal experience, but to make known the project and the revolutionary reality of those who have taught us so much. "

The work [...] was thought collectively and written by women: internationalists, mothers, journalists, activists, mainly French, who spent from a few days to several years at the heart of the youngest revolution in the Middle East.
With this story, they invite us to discover the project and the reality of the women of Rojava and northeastern Syria, who since 2012 have been working meticulously to create their autonomous structures: armed and civil self-defense, education, cooperatives, grassroots democracy. ...

Texts of reflection, poems, tales, extracts from private diaries, letters, interviews, so many different forms that make this book throb and make it possible to approach the most intimate emotions, daily practice and geopolitical issues.

We will have the pleasure of discussing with two of the authors around this strong approach.
This panel discussion is moderated by:
