Jump Into Decibels | Music Concert

Jump Into Decibels is a trio project between a classical cello, an afro-Jazz drum and a Jazzy soundtrack piano.

Born in Kinshasa, Romus is a self-taught drummer whose first musical influence is none other than Gospel. In 2010, he recorded a Gospel album at the Dada studio with the artist Dzany Mpiana in Brussels. He played Zouk with Slai, Afro-Beat / world Music with Awilo Longomba and Afro-World with Afree-KG'Men better known as Gwanaa in 2012. In 2018, he co-starred in the project Zouratié Koné Together with Toine Thys. Today, he is a composer and arranger in Jump Into Decibels.

Born in Agadir, Docteur C. is a self-taught pianist, keyboardist and composer, arranger. After an improvised concert at the Brussels Jazz Marathon in 2002, she went on to improvisation concerts, notably at the Che Habana Café and at the Archiduc. In 2012, she joined several musical projects like Keurgui, Kunigi Fanga Band and Siggy Band. In 2015, she created her own project: Wahati Soul with Amanda Meda. In March 2021, she brought together the musicians to create Jump Into Decibels.

Classically trained cellist, trained in the Conservatories of Poitiers, Reims and Bordeaux. Juliette Lacroix is engaged in various performances combining theatre, poetry, dance or drawing. Active in various styles, notably, world music with Perrine Fifadji, Nawaris or Edats; contemporary and improvised music with Ensemble Un and L'nude and electronic music with Blunk. She has also written the music for several short films including, "La formule du baiser" with Thomas Bardinet' and "The Way Back" with Hussein Rassim and Ersoj Kasimov. Today, she is a composer and arranger in Jump Into Decibels.
