Khaled Khalifa (Aleppo, 1964) is an award-winning Syrian writer and scenarists. His most renowned novel, In Praise of Hatred, is translated into several languages.
He was shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction and is winner of Naguib Mahfouz Medal for Literature.
